NEW CHALLENGE: Emerling to become primary xfinity driver for ss green light racing

Mooresville North Carolina -- SS-Greenlight Racing is excited to announce Patrick Emerling as the primary driver of the #07 Chevrolet during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. This will be Emerling’s 5th season competing in the Xfinity series having previously competed for Our Motorsports and Emerling-Gase Motorsports. Emerling will be the anchor driver of the #07 program, as he will also be fighting for the Whelen Modified Tour Championship in 2024 with Rich Gautreau’s #1 team! Emerling will drive the car whenever there is not a conflict in schedule with the Whelen tour, his official schedule will be announced at a later date. Emerling’s first race will be the United Rentals 300 at Daytona in February! Emerling has built a great reputation as a tough driver and a fierce competitor, in just 22 Xfinity Series starts he has already recorded 13 top 25s, in addition to his 74 top 10s, and 4 wins in the Whelen Modified Tour. Veteran Crew Chief Paul Clapprod will move over to join the effort as crew chief of the #07, his tenure and experience in NASCAR will be invaluable to the team!
